The Lehigh Acres Senior Citizens Center is unique in that we have at least ten classes or activities going on every day. The classes do not include our many special events held every month. Our monthly events include:
* “Learn at Lunch Bunch” is a group that meets on a Monday at 11:30 a.m., where a sponsor provides a lunch and shares a topic they specialize in.
* “Drs. Breakfast” is provided by Lehigh Regional Medical Center. A physician or a medical professional speaks to us about a medical topic. A free light breakfast is provided.
* “Diabetic Support Group” is led by a licensed RN who keeps us up to date on all the issues of diabetes.
* ”Hot Dog Day” is once a month and is only $2.00 and we provide a hotdog, chips and soda. We meet on the porch where the aroma of the hotdogs is cooking on the outside grill.
* “Pancake and French Toast Breakfast” is once a month and is only $1.50. This includes one of each or two of the same including sausage with coffee.
* We have monthly dances; karaoke, Tai Chi and Zumba classes and many more activities that are on our calendar page. Daily classes are located on the activities page.
* Weekly Bingo with $250.00 jackpots is our main source of income.
We have between one and two thousand members annually. The cost is only $15.00 a year per person or $25.00 a year per couple or significant other for anyone 50 or older. When you become a member here, Lee County offers a yearly pool pass for a discounted price of $10.00.

Established in 1980 Lehigh Acres Senior Citizens Center, Inc. is a non-profit organization to provide the local senior population with activities to sharpen mind and body and give meaning and purpose to their retirement years. Our programs provide members with the opportunity to meet with friends for recreational activities, remain mentally and physically active, benefit from being a member of the large volunteer program, encourage daily learning and maintain a healthy lifestyle…..all in a safe, secure and friendly environment. We have more to offer than a YMCA. We invite you to come and take a tour.
